Real Wild Wedding Ideas
“When Jocelyn and Matt got in contact with us and told us about their plans to do a multi pitch climb and get married at the top we were stoked! We couldn’t think of a more epic way to get married. Not only were they doing something that was special to them, they were planning a crazy adventure in a new place.
After some research, they found a perfect seven pitch route in the heart of Banff National Park. The best part was it was a walk off, which meant that their amazing officiant, Martha could hike up and meet us at the top. When we first scouted the location we couldn’t believe how perfect it was. Banff is becoming increasingly popular in the summer and it’s hard to find a place that feels secluded. Here we were with one of the most incredible views around and there was no one else to be seen.”
“We met Jocelyn and Matt on the morning of their wedding day with big smiling faces. It was a perfect day. The week leading up to the wedding we were all watching the weather as rain would mean that we wouldn’t be able to safely climb the route. We pulled out all of our gear and packed our bags ready for the hike up to the start of the climb. After about an hour we were at the base looking up the vertical rock. We climbed above Jocelyn and Matt so we could take photos of them on the route. It was such a beautiful experience, and we couldn’t have been in better company.
On the way up, we had incredible views of the Bow Valley with the river winding below us. As we topped out, we saw Martha making her way up to meet us. We set up a little picnic and shared a celebratory beer while these two unpacked their wedding clothes and got ready for their ceremony.
We watched Jocelyn and Matt share their vows in English and Spanish as the sun set over the mountains. Martha led a beautiful ceremony, and we can’t recommend her highly enough for any couple planning an adventurous elopement! We then enjoyed the view a little longer and took some more portraits as the golden light flooded through the valley. We feel so lucky to have met these two adventurous kind souls. To have shared this day with them and the opportunity to capture all of their memories was truly an honor.”

“Jess slid into my DMs last month. It had been what felt like an eternity since we had last connected and she had some news:
She and her partner Matthew had just eloped in Portugal and were coming home to have a small ceremony with family upon their return. I was honoured to be asked to attend to capture some magical moments.
We gathered in a (stunning) suite at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver. I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t crying as I hid my face behind the camera. I was def crying behind the camera.
Here are a few moments from the ceremony.” - Ally Pintucci

“Natalie and Stef are the new couples in town that are so happy to have finally tied the nuptial to spend the rest of their lives together. Their wedding was so radiant, natural and reflects what a wedding represents; a union of two bodies.
The wedding taking place in Hacienda Sarria, a gothic and romantic wedding destination in Southern Ontario made the occasion special and unforgettable for guests. It also provided a wonderful background to capture the happy moments for the couple. The Hacienda Sarria is a world-class and European style architecture for weddings.”
“The wedding was held at the outdoors of the Hacienda Sarria. The sun smiled upon the area blending with the greeneries to accentuate the decorations. Seats were neatly arranged for guests to sit and witness the vow exchange. After the nuptial knot tying, the newly wedded couple posed for shots.
The European style architecture of the Hacienda Sarria and the sun and the greeneries were in good terms with the camera and us. Standing on the walkway, they struck different poses and all of them depicted their undying and deep love for each other. Their poses just showed how much they desire each other.
The wedding reception venue was mesmerizing. White drapes, illuminated crossing bulbs and the neatly arranged chairs around the round table took the occasion to a completely new level. Delicious cuisines and world-class service were enough to give the guests a treat they deserve. The venue also offered the couple and us experimental moments that took our breath away.
I was able to capture Natalie & Stef as they put on their dancing shoes and hit the dancing floor. I was opportune to capture every beautiful moment that the Hacienda Sarria helped create for the couples. It was an experience I will never forget.
Only the photos explain better how the Hacienda Sarria in Ontario is a destination for romance and love. Thank you Natalie & Stef for making it possible for my crew and me to experience the beauty of Hacienda Sarria and your romantic wedding as well.”

“Sarah & Steve are the definition of the perfect bride and groom. They stayed true to themselves; not letting other people’s wants or expectations curb how their wedding would be. They kept it simple: an intimate coffee shop wedding at Balzac’s Coffee Shop in the Distillery District in Toronto. Their love for each other was evident and they wanted to maximize on time spent with those who came to celebrate and my heart nearly exploded when they elected to do a first look and all their portraits prior to the ceremony. We weren’t rushed. We didn’t have a schedule.”
“Exploring the cobblestone alleyways and abandoned buildings around the Distillery made for such a relaxing afternoon and they were just as relaxed yet excited leading into the ceremony. They got engaged on a trip to Iceland and when researching before they left they came across my work and the photographs Matt and I took from our trip. When they returned, they immediately contacted us asking if we’d photograph their wedding so it’s only fitting that you listen to some Icelandic music while you enjoy their wedding images.”
